    Default DVI > VGA?

    Hello

I'm picking up a Macbook air tomorrow (who says KFC doesn't pay good wages haha ) and i'm also getting a MDP > DVI adaptor - I'm wondering, if i ever need too, would a DVI>VGA adaptor work in this if you get me?

    So.. Thunderbolt port - MDP > DVI - DVI > VGA - Monitor ?

    Cheers
    Luke

    I don't see why it shouldn't, it's not like they'd be using a non-standard DVI signal.

Edit: Seeing some conflicting opinions online, I'll do some searching.

Edit2: Just checked, the DVI output on the converter only supports DVI-D (Digital), no DVI-I (Hybrid analogue and Digital) so it wouldn't do both. But you can get a MDP->VGA adapter.
