right i brought a seat ibiza Mk3 today and the bloody speakers arent playing the radio/any audio. It looks like the previous owner must have had a sound system? I just want to know what the score is because im no good with this and what can i do to get sound back into my car?
Heres a photo of wires in the boot, I have taped them up because they were live and shocked my dad :|
The box thing is a 6 disc changer but with no disc thing??

Take it to halfords or your local garage, should help you.

that looks like wiring for an amp/possible sub setup, it probably means your speaker wires have been routed to the boot to go into the amp, take off the door cards and look at the speakers, the original stock plugs could still be there.

looks like the previous owner removed the amp and sub... the 6-disc is factory vw, my brothers touraeg has the same one.. it's missing the magazine (as was his when he purchased it) you can get a replacement on ebay.

When working with those power cables you're generally supposed to remove (I think...) the positive terminal from your battery... just sayin'

It looks like a sub setup though, check your door speakers, they may be connected & also check back of hu.
