1. Don't write essays. Stick to short, simple, sweet... & SELL YOURSELF. You are allowed to exaggerate a little as well.

4. If you have volunteer experience, add it. This counts for your Habbox stuff too. You don't have to go into detail as it is just volunteer experience as it is not paid.

So to end this, sell yourself, be positive and think of it this way, if it's your first CV, it's not going to be amazing. But it will get you a job.

Personal Profile and Key Skills are basically the same thing for you. Make sure you don't submit stupidly long CVs to places like KFC, they're bothered about you not being a ******, not that you can speak Swahili. Make sure that you don't make Hobbies and Interests too long, make it short and condensed, they don't want to read through it to get to what they're bothered about. Also at your age you shouldn't be looking at any more than an A4 side, condense it if it does go over.

Don't use MS Word, makes you look like an idiot, unless you remember to switch it to British English.

Looks good and to the point. Depends what job you are going for really. I would tailor the CV to the company after researching it.

Like its been said, try to make the CV for the job you're looking for, also try not to have one more than 2 sides of a page, most employers see a big CV and throw it away!

Make it eye catching and make it stand out, underlining headings and making them bold etc
