In all seriousness, habbo players are worse than smokers when it comes to quitting..

I think this is quite a rude comment, Moe has put a huge amount of effort into something we should see the actual hotel staff doing (I'm not saying they're not improving and don't do events like this, but it would be more ideal if they did).

He's made various rooms for a huge event this halloween and he's managed the whole thing fantastically. I know many people didn't see the big hype about it or why people wanted to get the awards, but it was a nice thing for the community.

This is difficult IMO. The whole staff argument is hardly fair - having a Habbo Annual Awards is stupid anyway, when it is only November? That is why I think he basically wants the ego more than to make a nice community - as the only reason I can think of for doing an Awards Ceremony 2 months before the end of the year is to make sure that one is first.

Didn't staff have an awards thing last year anyway?

They sorta did. They had those special trophy things i.e. "Best room designer" "Hottest Girl" "Hottest Boy" and "Best Friend" trophies, and the person which was gifted the most (for each category - e.g. person who got gifted the most "Hottest Girl" trophies, would win "Hottest Girl") would win a big overall trophy. The last awards ceremony, was 2009 though.

So true tbqh. There have also been studies which suggest the internet is more addicting that some drugs - wouldn't be surprised tbh.

Yeah, they had the one where it was based on the amount of trophies given.
That's why I think this way is better, if you're not very rich with the official one, you couldn't get anywhere. I remember some people paying people to get their trophies, these people paid like over 3000c for it. lol.

Sadly, this one is just as bad imo as it is quite literally 'BUM LICK ME IF YOU WANT ME TO TALK TO YOU' - which the majority of users want to do as it means they might be more respected/liked by others.

I guess these things will ALWAYS have their faults, and to be fair whatever "Moe's" motives others do get a chance to gain from it too, so I guess if we look on the positive side of things that is always good!
