    Default OpenDNS

Hi guys, I'm just playing around with OpenDNS now, trying to weigh the benefits over just using Virgin Media's DNS servers. I was wondering if any of you have used the service yourself and found it to be faster than your ISPs DNS servers and whether the advantage of it was at all noticeable?

I mean it seems like OpenDNS is faster... I dunno, discuss. D:

I prefer Google's personally, even if they're slightly slower, they're damn sure easier to remember.

I've used OpenDNS and I hate the fact they redirect you to an OpenDNS page when a URL doesn't exist.

I remember using OpenDNS. It was alright, but they started getting really slow and I found Google to be faster, but judging by Recursion's post they must of sorted the slowness issue

Meh, I remember OpenDNS too from sheer amount of use - 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220

I generally set 8.8.8.8 as my primary and 208.67.222.222 as the secondary, but on my Linux servers primary is 127.0.0.1 as I run a local resolver.
