Whats the quickest way for smithing xp? i see alot of people smelting gold bars? is this a good method for speed or cost??

I superheated to 99 which got me 99 magic and 99 smithing. Took ages though

You should try some of the mini games for smithing, If that Fails try doing the best of the smithing you can to your level
Eg: Addy Smithing.

get SC hammers and do plate bodys (i think this is the best way)

goldsmithing gloves look good since it dubles xp! however i already have 97 mage so not looking to superhead if thats what u ment, sure that would cost loads aswell. so just smithing gold bars with gloves is best?

regardless of whether you want magic exp or not, superheating is over 2x faster than normal smelting.
