Christmas Present Advice PLEASE ;D

So yeah, by the time Christmas comes, I'll be with my girlfriend for almost five months and I'm really stuck for present ideas! Normally when I buy gifts, I tend to go all out, (When she was having an operation in hospital I bought her pandora charm, which I was almost castrated over!) but she's told one of our friends that's she's afraid that I'm going to get her something really expensive and it's going to make her gift look pathetic because she doesn't have the money to spend when I have a lot!

Any suggestions? We'll be almost five months and she's 17.

Books ? Maybe a simple and elegant necklace ?

Hair stuffs or earrings ? if she likes them.

Or maybe you can buy her a bottle of perfume ?

One thing I'm defo going is the Katy Perryfragrance! I dunno if she likes it but I bloody well do!! But yh I still wanna get her something else.

Make her a scrap book.

A scrap book is a fabulous idea!

You could also go for something beautiful, unusual and obvious in its simplicity.. Like a locket with a quote or message, or even just your two names?

Since it's only 5 months, buy something like a necklace or bracelet, maybe anklet, no more than $200. I would say no more than $100. It's not appropriate to spend that much especially when its been only 5 months.
Take my advice as a girl. I know what im saying

I found out later form my boyfriends mom, that he thought he should spend a few hundred maybe 500 on me for something. He talked to his mom about it, and she told him exactly what i'm telling you.

Talk with your mother about it as well, she can maybe help you shop for her, it will be good help. (i don't think i would have gotten something so great if my boyfriends mother didn't go with him )
