    Default Best Football Match.

This is for the best football match you have watched your team play. (inspired by all the other threads Yellowparasol made) :p

Mine was the Division 2 play off final, 2nd leg, 2 seasons ago.

Brighton vs Swindon, we won the first leg 1-0 at Swindon.

The main plan was to defend the lead and it was all going well until the 81st minute when Swindon scored to make it 1-1 on aggregate.

Extra time came and Swindon scored again to make it 2-1, so Brighton had to go into attack mode to make sure we could pull something out and get to Cardiff.

Brighton pushed forward and after Cullip had blazed high and wide, Iwelumo latched on to Hart’s through ball only to shoot weakly at Evans.

Hinshelwood headed over from six yards with five minutes remaining.

Town looked to have done enough but just as thoughts began to turn to Cardiff, Brighton plundered a goal out of the blue.

Seven seconds into stoppage time, Cullip flicked on a throw from the left and Virgo hurled himself forward to plant a header into the bottom right hand corner of the net.
That was taken from a Swindon fansite, but it was much worse to watch for me, i was ready to give up and look at division 2 again, but we scored in the last possible minute and won on Penalties 5-3

For my team it would have to be when i watched Derby V Norwich and we thrashed them 4-0 the year we won the league. But Norwich 2-0 Manchester United, that beats them all. It was awesome

However looking at games overall I'd have to say the best league game either last season or the season before was Spurs V Man city when Spurs were 3-0 up at half time and Man city won the game 4-3.

Best Champions League game would be Manu Vs Bayen Munich in 1999 or Liverpool Vs AC milan this year. They were both great games.
Next match: Ipswich (H) Sunday 4th November, 12.45pm.
