Default Ron Paul at CNN Debate

    http://www.deathandtaxesmag.com/1627...at-cnn-debate/

Of all those who remarked on the TSA, Ron Paul was the only one with sense enough to see that racial profiling is A.) unfair and B.) counter-productive. By profiling, we are “digging a hole for ourselves,” he said. “What if [the terrorist] look like Timothy McVeigh? You know, he was a pretty tough criminal,” explained Paul, referencing the white American who orchestrated the Oklahoma City bombing. Implementing a superficial screening process based on xenophobia and hateful loathing ends up eroding all of our rights, explained Paul, because terrorism is not a person — it’s a tactic. Said Paul, “[Terrorism] isn’t a person. It isn’t a people. So this is a very careless use of words. What about this? Sacrifice liberties because there are terrorists?”
Read this article and watched a few video clips about Ron Paul at CNN Debate.
It seems like he was the only one againsttargeted identification and racial profiling. Whatever he said at the debate was very true indeed and I couldn't agree more with him. In my opinion, he is also the only one who thinks for the future.

What do you think? Do you agree with what he said?

Oh haven't watched this debate, completely agree with Paul though as with most topics - terrorism has been greatly over-exaggerated so that government can take away our civil liberties to the point where we can now be felt up in airports/have to go through naked body scanners.

The irony is, that it was government regulation of airport security which stood in the way of preventing 9/11 in that had it been legal for pilots and passengers to carry guns or had the planes had private security, the hijackers might have been prevented from carrying out the act in the first place.

Glad to say he's one of the top contenders (according to polls) in the Iowa race!

Whilst i agree with much that Ron Paul says, there are some which are just crazy.

80% good ideas, 20% dangerously stupid ideas.

Would be interesting to see what would happen if he became president, however he is far too controversial to get past even the republican nominations i believe.
Bonjour, la noirceur, mon vieil ami
    Je suis venu te reparler
    Car une vision piétinante doucement
A laissé ses graines lorsque je dormais
    Et la vision
Qui était plantée dans mon cerveau
    Demeure toujours
    Parmi le son du silence

This man has my vote for sure. He wants to legalize Marijuana because he believes that we have the freedom to put what we want in our body. He did make a good point that if it did get legalized that not everybody is going to smoke pot. Look around you, not everybody gets drunk, there's people that don't even have 1 12oz can of beer, so why should people be worried about the whole nation getting high if you're able to go down to the market and buy Marijuana if not everybody drinks and smokes tobacco as it is? The war on drugs is a complete waste of money, at least it is on pot because it's actually been helpful for people with some medical conditions. It's not like Cocaine or Meth that's made in a basement that's infested with very harmful Chemicals. Cocaine actually uses Gasoline as part of the process of making, that's pretty harmful!

This is my opinion, but i seriously think he is United States last hope to get back on it's feet again.
