Content box's - Need idea's

Any idea's for the black content box's (what they should look like)?

Depends on the purpose! If I was fiddling about with this layout, I'd probably use a 50% or so transparent white so you can see the background behind it. Might be useful to round the corners too and use a little bit of drop shadow.

I was thinking of making the box's look like they are indented into the dirt, i'll try your idea though.
Tried both idea's, don't look very good. I think its the white.
