    Watch from 40 seconds to see the rather science-fictional landing procedure that they hope will occur.

    It's launching at 3:02pm so get watching! It's due to land on Mars in August 2012 and it's cost £1.6 billion - it will be travelling 350 million miles. I'd love the air miles from that..

    This should be quite a revolutionary day if everything goes to plan!
