Whats Digital Cinema :S

Right, So I won tickets to this new cinema around mine, called Light Cinema, its sort of a new chain in the UK and the first branch is opening by mine.

It says that its an all digital cinema, and just wondering whats the differences between that and normal ones :S

just better quality than normal tbf. went to see the harry potter (order of phoenix i think) in digital and was crystal clear.

i think the difference is that most cinemas still use the reel system in some aspect and digital is read off a disc maybe?
