    Default Christmas Challenge: Day 15

I forgot to put this one up yesterday so I'll make it easy.

Father Christmas since 1850 when he invented the PC has been keeping his naughty and nice list in a spreadsheet. This is a very large file and it takes him and his elves ALL year to write it. However to ensure that he does not lose the data for any reason what precautions should Father Christmas have taken?

One month of VIP for the most elaborate answer possible (Without being repetitive).

Give all the elves a USB Stick with a copy, attach a USB to each reindeer with a copy, carry a backup reindeer powered serrver. Have the elves power a backup server with another copy on, Is santa loses his, he can just ask anyone else?

Oh and keep a copy in the cloud, obviously.

It should be backed up via Dropbox in a secure volume. He should also keep copies in various USB sticks that he is bound to have around his home.

You know, there are more redundancies than just backing up..

I guess the winner is Jaaaack. What colour would you like?

For informative purposes I was looking for a few things:

    RAID
    A local backup
    An offsite backup
Different formats of copies (e.g. Hard drive, discs, flash memory, magnetic tape)
    + Any other valid points

Both of you scored the same but Jaaaack! immersed himself.

Arranging Candy cane on an atomic scale into a crystal form backup would be acceptable also.
