possibly the wisest idea habbox has had is have events during non normal GMT hours i.e. 2am 5-7am etc. Finally catering for us international people. well done.

also, the [@]@mention[/@] thing is broken. you can't mention people with [@]@ signs in their name easily or with spaces? No idea why you didn[/@];t just get a premade script instead of get that guy to code it.

point in case that one about. Why would that whole thing want to be highlighted? Can't you also check the DB for the username instead of do a search for it? for example [@]@Blinger1000[/@] would only link to [@]@Blinger1 and the 000 would be plain -&amp[/@];gt; that should work. [@]@Blinger1000[/@]

It is impossible to implement a system where you could just do @The Don and have it pick up "The Don" without having to parse every single user on the forum.

There is a delimiter which works just fine for users with a space in their name, put a ; at the end of the name, for instance [@]@Forum God[/@];, this is how official plugins for mentions work, and this does not indicate that the script we run at Habbox is "broken".
I'm not crazy, ask my toaster.

It's not really an "idea" per se, but just luck of the draw. It just so happens that there were a couple of people in our last batch of trialists who were awesome enough to do them at this time. Naturally we're always on the look out because we understand the importance of it, but it's not such a new revelation. Thanks though Blinger! xo

No you don't understand, habbox has very rarely catered for its international people (at least australians/kiwis) with events. unless it changed when I was away but yeah. definitely should keep this up!

Oh right. Well yeah the whole of Habbox has been trying since the merge but I daresay it still has quite a long way to go. It would be so much easier if we had a massive influx of Australians wanting to help us out...
