I know some stuff about computers, but when it comes to building a gaming computer is there a brand that has better cpu's for gaming? I've heard from people that AMD makes betterprocessorsfor gaming, and visa versa but i always thought Intel did a fine job. I use an intel core 2 duo 2.13 ghz myself and would like to hopefully build a new gaming computer soon, i just don't know what to look for.

If you're building a gaming computer get an Intel Core i5-2500K processor.

AMD processors have been behind Intel's for years now. Stick to Intel.

Intel for gaming, simply games are written for intel processors nowadays so even if an AMD is more powerful it likely would not perform to the same standard as the intel one anyway.
