    So I'm hoping someone is pretty knowledgeable about this because I don't really know what to look for. :'}

    Basically I want a Tablet PC to use purely for college work as I'm fed up of carrying huge folders to and from college and having the pieces of paper rip out and result in an extremely ugly looking folder.

    All I need the tablet to be able to do is:
    • Have a word processor (+a filing system),
    • Wi-fi capabilities, (3G isn't required),
    • USB connection to a PC if possible to transfer word processed files (if not possible email will do),
    • Decent battery life
    What sort of price range am I expecting? Ideally I would like £200-300, not really sure if that is ok.

    If you up it to £450ish you could get a 32GB iPad.

    Does it have to be a tablet PC? The things you've listed the uses for seem to hint towards getting a NetBook - at least you have a keyboard rather than tediously type with a touch-screen keyboard (or you buy an add-on, but that's extra money).

    As [@]@GommeInc[/@] said, I think you should consider a netbook for what you'll be using it for. Alternatively, you could get a refurbished iPad from Apple which could cost you around £350 depending on which one you want.

    Not online very often
