When I was thirteen years old, my science teacher explained to my whole class what a scientific name was and why it was used. Twenty minutes later, he handed everyone in the classroom a list of animals with their scientific names. I do remember looking for the Cheetah's (my favourite animal) scientific name because I was tickled with curiosity. Finally I had found the scientific name for a cheetah! It was Acinonyx jubatus. Anyways, five years later - I still have this very list in my hands! Now I will take six animals from this list and you guys will need to type the scientific name for each animal. 6. Koala
