54th Grammy Awards

Did anyone manage to watch the Grammy Awards this morning/last night?

I was really impressed with them to be honest. The performances were all really good and the night was full of quality entertainment. I was especially impressed with Adele who managed to win all of the awards she was nominated for. I also loved her performance too, it was her first live performance since her throat surgery and it was amazing. I'll post a video to her performance below. There were also a couple of tribute acts, one to Etta James and one to Whitney Houston. I was really impressed with those too.

Like I posted elsewhere I wasn't that impressed by her performance I thought it would have been better with all the hype surrounding it and the fact that the full night they were going on about it It wasn't bad, I still enjoyed it but I was expecting a bit more!

The rest of the awards were good and I really liked Katy Perrys performance, I fell asleep before I saw Nickis performance but I watched a video of it and I got bored of it

Adele's "Rolling in the deep" performance was amazing and Jennifer Hudson's rendition of Whitney Houston's "I will always love you" was one hell of a tribute.

edit: just watched Nicki Minaj's performance..so crazy!! It looks like an exorcism of some sort. The exorcism of Roman?

Nicki Minaj was the best part of the awards. 'Roman Holiday' is a fantastic track. I can't wait for it to come out on iTunes.

Loved Adele, she made me proud to be british! Also LOVED Jessie J's dress, and Minaj just blew me away. Her new album is going to be amazing.

I thought that Adele would have been singing a different track from the album. I still enjoyed it though because she's amazing.

Katy was great, and I really enjoyed the Beach Boys/Maroon 5/Foster The People performance and Nicki's exorcism or whatever it was she was doing was definitely exciting.

The awards themselves went how I expected to be honest, I was hoping Katy would win but I knew inside that Adele would slay.
