Default How to convert a fraction to a decimal?

I'm revising for maths resit which is next friday and the monday (i think). Going through everything and it says change 3/8 in to a percentage which i did 3 divided by 8 = 0.375 = 37%, so to convert 3/8 in to a decimal would it just be 0.375?

I think this question would come up in the calculator paper, rather than the first paper which is non calculator though

It would indeed. Type the fraction into the calculator and it will then give it you in decimal form (Like you've done there)

Yes it would, but just a small point with your example is it would be 37.5% not 37%, that is if they ask you to be specific.

Ooh right, sorry didn't realise. I failed maths by 2 marks and I really struggled with it but now going through revision everything seems so simple

Just saying, if they want a simplified answer then round up 37.5% and make it 38% XD
