    Default my bro

    Hey,
I don't know why but anytime my brother speaks to me he annoys me. I think it's because once he starts he doesn't stop. I feel really bad because if tables were turned i'd be really angry if my brother wouldn't listen to me. Nowadays we just fight constantly and i think it's because i just tell him to shut up all the time.

How can i stop being so angry at him? Does anyone else have similar problems?

I don't have those problems with my brother, but I do with Steve (my Dad), so I guess I can understand.. I do try to listen to him, but everything he says or does makes me want to punch the nearest thing as hard as possible!

I guess you could try talking to him instead of him always talking to you (if that's what it's like). It must be hard for him if it's always him who is doing the talking..

Best way to go about it would to just separate yourself from him. I guess if you share a room with him that'll be kinda difficult but try all the same!

Try and put your differences aside and get along even if he annoys you. Don't start arguing or shouting at him for every annoying bad thing he does and vice versa as that will continue to escalate the problem. Try and be nice to him and don't rise up to anything stupid he says and casually ignore it, walk away or your headphones and listen to loud music so you can't hear him.

On top of all the above a long period of separation usually does the trick.

Yeah, like Kyle said, just stop talking to him if you really hate him that much. I never talk to Steve unless it's something like "pass the salt". Everyone says it's really sad, but I think arguing all the time is sadder than just ignoring each other.

i'm like that with my mum, its not what she says or anything but for some reason she bugs me sometimes when she talks haha (love her dearly though). i usually say "mhm, mhm..." and mentally block her out or don't say anything at all but then that leads to her thinking i'm being rude and we argue anyway. i don't have any advice, i can't stop it so have to put up with it and try to keep patient.

my brothers are gay with each other and it annoys me because they are each others *****. I don't mean to use the term gay loosely but legit, if these 2 guys weren't brothers and didn't look alike, they'd be a couple for sure. They do everything together, they take girls out together, share clothes, take all the same classes, have the same friends, they even share girls apparently. Where one goes, the other one is with them, it's going to suck when one graduates this year and I'm left with the other one. I came home a few weeks ago and they were waxing each others chests and talking about how good they look. ******* meat heads.

They answer is yes, they ******* annoy the **** out of me.
I'm at a point in my life where I don't care if you like me or you don't. If you like me, cool. If you don't, meh.

do you live with him? me and my sister were like that for a long time. we're quite close in age (she's 19, i'm 21) and we'd just argue or bicker about stupid stuff and barely talk.

since i moved to uni last year and now she's moved out to uni this year, we get on so much better. i enjoy spending time with her, whereas before i felt forced to be with her. we can have decent conversations on the phone and i would consider her a friend now aswell as just my sister.

i think it comes with time, really. and having yr own space. and realising what it's like to be away from someone.

How old is he and how old are you? Lol. I guess it's normal. It's a way of communicating and as long as you don't take it seriously, it'll be fine. But u gotta keep yourself out of trouble though
