    Default New Facebook Page design

Has anyone seen the new Facebook Page design that everyone will get on the 30th March. Not sure if I like it - I like the side bar and the fact you can have large side banners on the current page - it looks like you won't be able to have individual pages. You can't put certain stuff into the large banner to including URL, product price, contact information (you can put this in your profile picture just not the banner picture).

I think this could cause some backlash - I like changes, but these changes look like they are only going to make it harder for brands if anything.

Not a fan of this at all, much like many of Facebook's changes recently. They're obviously expanding the timeline idea to pages but I don't like anything except the banner which will be great for businesses.

Looks good to me, I really like the new timeline so this fits in well.

Its actually so confusing to look at. Hate how hard it is to just see peoples posts. They are like all over the show. I hate it.

Is there rules on what you can have on the cover photo? I'm assuming that is what you mean in your post. I've always wanted the cover photo on pages and can't wait to put one up for the Habbox facebook!

Edit: Found the rules you were talking about.

How should I choose a cover photo for my Page?
Use a unique image that represents your Page. This might be a photo of a popular menu item, album artwork or a picture of people using your product. Be creative and experiment with images your audience responds well to.

Cover images must be at least 399 pixels wide and may not contain:

Price or purchase information, such as "40% off" or "Download it at our website"
Contact information, such as web address, email, mailing address or other information intended for your Page's About section
References to user interface elements, such as Like or Share, or any other Facebook site features
Calls to action, such as "Get it now" or "Tell your friends"

All cover images are public, which means anyone visiting your Page will be able to see the image you choose. Covers must not be false, deceptive or misleading, and must not infringe on third parties' intellectual property. You may not encourage or incentivize people to upload your cover image to their personal timelines.
I wish they increased the quality of uploaded images, I hate it when I upload images for Habbox on the facebook page and it reduces the quality of them. I know that isn't just for pages but yeah!

Yeah you can but it doesn't improve it by much, I liked how Google+ did with their photo uploads.

    Example:

You can see the reduced quality. They also convert the file from whatever it is saved in to .jpg.

I actually think having aseparatedesign partly for pages would help keep personal profiles and pagesseparate- having them look the same, just doesn't fully fit for me.

I do see you can have custom pages still kind of with a drop down thing, but you can't set it to land on a page. It seems like to me they have had to take a few good functions/features out just so that it works in the timelineenvironment
