    Default Just for Teens

I am designing/making a new website. The website will be aimed at people from 12-17 basically you can come on and like have a chat, play games, view the forum, watch some videos.

Basically I need help on things that teenagers would enjoy.

Here's a small list of things I am having.

    1. Different colour layout for girls and boys.
    2. Specific things for girl and boys. (example- Girl: Make UP, Fashion. Boys: Sports, Console games) (All can see these topics to, I ain't being sexist. Just aimed at there gender.)
    3. Forum
    4. Games page
    5. Things to do page. (Give you ideas on what you can do today or a day in the future.)
    6. Chat
    7. Social Network
    8. Video/Photo sharing

Basically just looking for like some new ideas. I am open for suggestions.

I need you advice on this:

Would it be a good idea to contact schools to try and advertise the site via the school?
    Yes/No

    Is this a good idea?
    Yes/No

What can I add to the site so that schools will think its good for the pupils?

Is there a way I can have like an organiser for the teens to keep on track with Homework and School stuff?

I am currently in the designing stage I am taking it slow as I don't want errors on the release. I am looking for people if you are interested in helping out with coding/ advertising.

I do need as many ideas as I can have. I ain't advertising the site as I know it will take around 6 months to do everything. But basically I want Version 1 to be like finished without have to do any updates and that. Obviously the minor updates like adding some cool features. but no major updates which involve the site lcosing ofrl ike a week or so.

    Please reply with your ideas.

I think it's unfair to aim Sports and Consoles at boys. There are thousands and thousands of female sports personalities!

We all saw how successful ClubTropica was so I would be careful about investing too much time in a concept like this.

the gender section just seem like a massive play on gender stereotypes. I don't like that idea at all. I prefer sports and console gaming anyways..

If that idea was taken out it seems like a good concept, but there are so many sites similar to this out there.
