when i have the hiccups I hold my breath for 2 minutes and they just go, if that doesnt work another way i to pull your head back and drink water that get rid of mine aswell haha

'Hiccups occur when your diaphragm (the thin layer of muscle that separates your chest cavity from your abdomen) suddenly and involuntarily contracts (tightens). As your diaphragm contracts, it causes you to breathe in air very quickly. The incoming air is stopped when your glottis (the opening between your vocal cords) closes suddenly, producing the characteristic sound of a hiccup.'

People usually scare me and it does seem to work. I rarely get them, but when I do they hurt so much.

If you're eating too much or too fast, or laughed a lot then you'll get hiccups. These are just some normal factors. I usually calm down, drink some water, take a deep breath and relax. There are other home remedies as well. If it doesn't work then i just don't care lol.

I hate hiccups, they drive me insane and I can never seem to get rid of them. I've tried all the methods but nothing works
