What's happened to serverside scripting?

OK we all know that serverside scripting has been patched. Or someone can do it and it doesn't last for long? I don't know, I figured out it was over when I stopped getting scripted after being scripted like 22 times, haha lol.

Anywho, if scripting doesn't really exist now and there's just the basic scripting like sticky colour changes and stuff, why does the thread of scripting news and rumours still exist? There's not gonna be much threads anymore unless there's the occasional one. I mean it used to be so popular there was always like 24 viewing, now it's like 1 or nada.. o_o

What are your for and against points eh?
