Admittedly, I was saying it a lot, but then I got this warning which I thought was quite amusing.

cake
that's a bit stupid, a warning for saying mcdonalds, the mods on habbo really need to get a grip haha
It's so the companies can't use automated bots to get free advertising on Habbo.
Chippiewill.
So does that mean if I say a companies name too much I'm going to get warned as he did? :S The warning does make perfect sense if spammed due to the reason you said but I'd rather not be discussing something like Mcdonalds too much and receiving a warning.
I bet @McDonalds; Feels so proud x

It's a bit silly even though it's to stop advertising. Do they expect us to say the company names in different ways?
Now you've got one for saying McDonalds you should try get one for KFC and Pizza Hut![]()
I suspect conversations get flagged if a company name crops up a lot and if it's excessive a moderator will warn you. Let's be honest if you're discussing a topic how often does the topic name actually come up?
Chippiewill.
Hmm fair point aha, usually you just start off the topic then refer to it by some other word e.g. for a place "there".
Hmm ok, thanks x

Would it not of been classed as Spamming? :S
