Default How could I develop this further?

Can I have some tips on how I could develop this layout further? I'm not even sure how I feel about it atm, it's obviously nowhere near completed and purely just started it out of boredom but I'd like to actually complete something for once 'cause I never seem to do. Looks very bland atm but yeah what are your thoughts and c+c on this?

Am I going in the right direction or would it be best to just scrap it? lol

I like it a lot. Although I feel the nav is a bit blocky and the "Submit" button isn't quite appealing.

    But good layout.

I agree with above about Nav Bar being blocky.
Plus not too fused on the font.
I know its a little thing but the Social Links (Facebook, Twitter and RSS feed) could be aligned centre
    The webpage is too small.
Would suggest searching for similar designs like this.

They have some great portfolio templates. (Don't copy look see what they done and try do something better )

As others have said - I'm not a fan of the nav bar at all. I think it just doesn't go with the design at all. Perhaps, again as said, it's the block design of it. As I think someone else has mentioned it's very small for a web page and should really be aligned (even though it's a layout, would be good to see it aligned ).

In regards to what somebody said about the submit button not being appealing - I actually quite like it. The text could be more central but other than that I quite like it.

Overall, it's a nice layout! Just extend it a bit and perhaps change the nav bar
