I always wondered why habboxforum doesn't offer some sort of incentive for those who refer users to the forum. After a certain amount of referrals members should receive a something in return. I know habable or w/e did a referal competition for a throne and got tons of users. Maybe not furniture though as it just isn't as popular as it was but you could offer other prizes.


V.I.P has been given away in posting competitions. I believe referral competitions would have a better result because you aren't exactly saying asking someone to do x for v.i.p, you're asking someone to do something for you. Which would work as people who use habbo are very selfish and inconsiderate and would prefer they get the prize over their friends so it would be like a chain reaction. People would be referring their friends and if those users choose to post, so be it. If they don't, it's no big deal. You'd still be getting a few new members that genuinely want to post because their friends do.

I have suggested it in the past and you're right that was their reply. Which is ridiculous because the posting thread went **** up. Everything was pointless, so everyone was posting bullcrap against the rules. Which is cheating.

Besides if someone wants to be a sad ass and make 20+ accounts to win, they deserve it. That isn't to say people wouldn't legit invite their buddys.
