Never used it myself but are you looking for something low end editing, mid end editing etc, high end etc. If your wanting to do basic editing then it probably is fine but if you planned to take it further it might not be great. Here is a video that might help you though

Yeah I've heard people say that but I dislike Vegas to be honest. Plus I'd rather go legal on all my softwares now.

why? They only care about corporations who don't pay for licenses

To be honest I totally disagree with that, beings although I was contacted by Adobe for my pirate license of Photoshop. So yeah I'd rather use legit softwares.
