Default Need help with my coding!!

Hi there. I am experiencing a few problems with my website....

Basically, http://alexelliott.org.uk/maint - The new features are on their way.. is fine and clear in IE but in any other browser it isn't. Does anyone know what is wrong with the coding?

Secondly, if you go to http://alexelliott.org.uk/New/contact.html then it comes up with "thank you for contacting us" for a split second and then goes to the form. Or if you refresh it - the same happens.

    Does anyone know why?

    Thanks in advance.

The link you provided is just a 404.

Also for the contact form the reason it flashes the "Thank you for contacting us" is because you're hiding it using JS in contact.js and the browser will most likely have rendered the page almost completely before it executes the JS to hide it. Just use style="display:none;" rather than using jQuery to hide it at the start.

    On the contactSuccessMessage div.

Also I tried the link you provided in IE, Firefox and Chrome and it looked fine. Can you provide a screenshot to explain what you mean?

Looks fine in IE but not other browsers? o.O That's a change.

But no it looks fine to me on Firefox.

    And no:
    HTML Code:
    <div class="divname" style="display:none;"></div>
Although you could stick it in the css I think.

In terms of Chrome, it does not render TrueType fonts very well. If you can find a OpenType version of that font then it should look better, otherwise there is not much you can do.

    Also, no. You'd just want to change <div class="contactSuccessMessage"> to <div class="contactSuccessMessage" style="display:none;">

I can't help with the coding side of things too much, as I don't know too much about JS. But from a graphics point of view, it's annoying me that the circle background is just a box and not full page
