Basically looking to spend about £200 on NAS.

It needs to be used to share files on network, use for WDTV, backup computers on network.

Was looking at the WD My Book 2T for £120.

Someone else suggested I look at the HP Microserver (£129.97) then add 2TB drive.

    Basically suggest a suitable NAS

Not sure why you posted this on both here and ocuk, you're obviously going to get better replies there

I don't restrict my posts to one forum, I tend to ask for opinions on multiple forums (hell fairly sure I posted one thread on up to 5 forums once).

Just because i'm likely to get better replies on there doesn't mean i'm going to disregard the opinions of HxF members.

Apparently Drobos are very good NAS with built in RAID etc.

I'd recommend the HP Microserver simply because it can run Windows Home Server... I built a WHS box this week for our house for my parents and I've been pretty impressed with it.

I could have sworn it was cheaper than that
