Hallooooo everyone!

Myself and a mate are making a custom Hunger Games map from scratch (we want to be original! )

Before we can start adding everything, we need to know how many players my internet connection can support with little or no lag.

I'm limiting the plugins we're using and I can only see us ever using 7/8 plugins maximum.

Can someone here suggest the amount of players I can allow onto the map (including the 2 hosts)?

I should let you know that the download speed shown is significantly less than it normally is (for some reason).

I'm also expecting a new internet dongle thing which promises to be speedier than the one I currently have (it has 2 antennas and everything!)

Some websites have told me that I can host a maximum of 8/9 players and others are telling me I can host 12/15 comfortably.

If you need some specs of my PC (don't think they're that important):

RAM is 4GB (not sure how much to allocate to minecraft? is 2.5GB/3GB enough?)
AMD Phenom II X2 560 Processor ~3.3Ghz
OS: Windows 7 64bit Home Premium
