    Default Champagne Marmite

In 2008 (for Valentine's Day) a special version of Marmite was released which had a "hint" of Champagne in it. Has anyone ever tried this aha? Our Business Studies teacher gave us all some to try and it tasted alright/normal at first... then the after taste was absolutely horrid. Never again. Funny thing is, it's only about 0.3% champagne but it really makes a diff. imo :S

    Here's what it looks like:

Give it a go if you happen to stumble across it somehow... I think only 6 million (or 600,000 I forget) were released and you can only really get it via the internet now. Has anyone here already tried it?

I want to see children and young teens try and get drunk off it. They'd have to go through about 50 jars to get any form of the effects of alcohol... or just an effect from the marmite eating away at them from the inside. Either one

LMFAO. I'd genuinely pay to see that, it'd be absolutely brilliant.

Never had marmite, reminds me of Branston Pickle and if it tastes like that I'll like it.

    Omg...
    ....

Oh actually, I'm not quite sure what it's made from. It is a spread, you usually put it on toast or in sandwiches

Marmite is made from yeast extract, a by-product of beer brewing.
The British version of the product is a sticky, dark brown paste with a distinctive, powerful flavour, which is extremely salty
I've never found it that salty tbh? Certainly powerful but not... "salty powerful" :S. Oh @Samanfa; as well for the flavour bit^

So... it tastes salty? What does it actually taste like, any similar taste? & I know a lot of people have it with toast, so is it an alternative to nutella/honey etc? BASICALLY WHAT DO YOU EAT IT WITH
