*Believe I post this in here*. Heard this on the radio this morning for some reason but I'm not sure when it actually happened haha? (Might have been a day/two ago idk - k no apparently it was announced today/happened today ).

443 billion minutes of game time since the game launched in 2001.

RuneScape has reached the monumental milestone of 200 million registered player accounts, Jagex has announced.

The figure comes 11 years after its launch in 2001.Over the last 11 years, RuneScape's MMO world has been home to players from more than 150 countries, and If RuneScape were a country it would be the 5th largest population in the world.

All those players have invested a lot of time in the game, too, racking up in excess of 443 billion minutes of game time so far.

Realistically they don't have 200 million actual players because people make multiple accounts. Over the years I would say I have registered about 20 and that's just me. Fair play though.

Yeah haha, that's what I wondered about first. What the 'active' users total was. Have they ever published a total for the active users?

I don't think so but that's expected as it would be significantly lower

Bots are still technically accounts

but it's the same with Habbo, they have millions of accounts but someone people have like 200 *cough @Samanfa; cough @Red; cough*

Would be interesting to see actual active accounts tbh
