ALL FOR A DOG?Three of the seen police were wearing riot-gear and had shields. Police are still at the scene, which has now been blocked off.
but anyway, not really shocked, surprised etc. more like "oh, ok".

Depends on the dog, the riot shields are seen as a standard form of kit in some areas to deal with a dog, and larger dogs will need more than one officer with the right equipment. Not entirely sure what the fire services were called out for though :/ Moral support?
