Seriously, Habbo is meant to be a virtual community... The fansites only enhance this philosophy.
A global Habbo mute, banning me for 12 years for accusing me of 'flooding', banning others that only mention an OFFICIAL fansite...
I think Habbo.com can be closed in a year or two. If we can't get to 6k members with a combined UK, US, AU, and SG hotel, these days, then I hope they realize there must be something wrong with Habbo's current system.

By the way, did you get your reply within 24 hours?
I appealed at the customer support twice, and didn't get anything back so far.

There are no official fansites, but it doesn't take much to look at the list we now have listing them all. I don't really get why they replied with that? It explains nothing as to why you were banned nor why they will/wont unban you?

If there only were possibilities to become a Habbo lawyer.
Also, the new guardian system with just a 'neutral', 'approve', and 'disapprove' button is kind of lame.
If Habbo wants to be open and have a democratized system, they better make room for valid argumentation too.

Users and Staff of Habbox need to be quite careful about the way they mention Habbox on the client. Habbo seriously do not like spam of any sort and they have actually just recently filtered: ThisHabbo from the client. They are currently debating about this with Fansites_Jason - I don't know the full story behind it but as long as we don't spam Habbox or the URL then we should be ok.

I can't help with bans as everyone has to go through the Help Tool but just show them the fansite list and say that Habbox isn't a retro.

Edit: Just to add onto this - Habbox will be fine as long as we comply with the rules. You can mention Habbox on Habbo for sure but if it's being spammed quite a lot and users are then reporting that back to Sulake then that is problems start arising.
