Not even sure if this is shown in the UK (probably is on one of the many Sky channels ) but I've heard a lot about it for quite a long time and finally decided to look at a clip on youtube featuring the show.

All I can say is... why? Why the heck would you do that to your child. The child in this video is "sad because she didn't get a big trophy" yet still got a trophy, absolutely obsessed with money o.o and all dolled up at too young an age (6).



Don't get me wrong, the show seems interesting (that's only a 6 min clip) but everything about making a 6 year old into some "pageant queen" seems horrendous.

I've watched a few episode just through fascination really. To me, it just generally seems as if it's the mothers idea as it's probably what she always wanted to do herself. Most of the kids get spray tans and wear fake eyelashes! I've never even done that They seem to cry a lot when their make-up is getting done and about how it is painful, which really just goes to show that they can't enjoy it that much.

I don't see why fake tan is appealing at all really, I always thought it makes women look much worse :s.

Amazing show, totes hilarious and some of the reactions from the kids are gold. Can go on about "OMG WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT TO YOUR CHILD" but these parents are gonna spoil them no matter what and it's really no worse than any other parent trying to force their kid to be/act a certain way, yet most parents do that to some degree without being told they're terrible. I don't see anyone up in arms over people teaching their sons that they'll be worthless without being strong and having a ton of money

I actually saw this episode of this girl, it was like the first and only episode I watched of it. It's ridiculous.. From the mother not being able to raise her daughter properly, to the whole beauty pageant.. It's really stupid. Some girls, you can understand why they are there. They are really cute and look like little princesses with their dresses. But dressing your daughter like half naked and acting like a little ****.. That's just awful.

my sister religiously watches it. same with dance moms and some other show. not my cup of tea though...
