What are you doing on your MacBook Pro when you notice the fan becomes particularly loud?

I've noticed that it happens on mine when I'm on YouTube. If you open up Activity Monitor you can see which process is hogging your CPU.

I'm doing the same things as you and probably more and haven't noticed any noise as of yet. Although I did only buy my Macbook last week so it's fairly new if that makes any difference.

Mine does that sometimes. The last time I did it, I took my 13" MBP into the Apple Store, well got my girlfriend to, and she came out with an "15 MBP to replace my 13" & 1tb HDD for free!

Any problems, take it to the Apple Store. In my eyes, Apple has the best customer service in the world.

Make sure you don't block vents or put it on hot areas. Close anything you don't need open too.

Flash from the Habbo client will be causing it, as @Robbie; said.

Just like to point out, if you upgraded to Lion like I did, the MBP is completely messed up at the moment with bugs and lots of rubbish, Safari especially is leaking a lot of memory for me and is barely coping to run Habbo.

Try a browser like Chrome, it has worked well for me since I tried it, and trust me, I am very against moving browsers but I had no choice!

Also, if you're on Mountain Lion, make sure you have the 10.8.1 update, got no problems with my 13" 2012 MBP.

Yeah I've noticed that, ITs also when I've left habbo on for long periods as well so thats what is probably causing it.
