A while ago a feedback thread was made regarding the News Department, some said they didn't really read the news on the site and there was a lack of interaction with the readers it had. Others on the other hand, do read some of the news on the site but they can also find it tedious and boring to keep reading, that's where you come in! I want you to invent an idea the News Department can use to improve communication between you and them.

The greatest idea will win!

I think it would be a great idea to start posting some of the news on the forum. Then the forum users can comment an discuss the news and possibly start a debate or something on the topic. Then that could lead to prizes for the best debater and so on

It may be cool if there was the option to add a poll to the bottom of a news article. Staff can ask the readers what they think of the matter by inviting them to vote in a poll, and then encouraging them to elaborate on their response in the comments. Remember that people who read the Habbox.com news may not be the same people who read the forum, so there might be some different responses in that respect.

The only thing I could think of is offer rewards for people commenting; for example, each purposeful(no spam) comment is equal to "one raffle ticket" to a weekly prize of 5c + forum rep. At the end of the week, a random news article can be selected and a random commenter within that article will be selected to win. Alternatively, you could give a prize to the most interesting commenter.

The weekly winner would need to be posted somewhere on the forums to publicise the competition and hopefully persuade people here to go and comment.
