    Default *INSERT PROFANITY* HELP?!

Okay, so literally I was reinstalling Windows - I have 2 drives, 1TB main drive, and 250GB backup - I just went through and backed up ALL my files from my old windows install to the 250gb backup drive. Now I booted the Windows DVD, custom installed, and was doing the usual 'delete and format' except I slipped and hit the down arrow unknowingly, and I've just clicked 'Delete' on my 250GB drive. I didn't click format, just delete. Is there ANY way I'd be able to recover the data?

No need for this. Since only the partition has been deleted you can use something like gparted or TestDisk to recover the whole partition.

    Edit:

Hope you did not pay for it, you can get free software that would of worked just fine.
