One of my favourite Christmas albums this year has been Michael Bublé's. One of the songs that seems to be played more than the rest in my household is 'It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas' and that's what inspired this competition. The first thing for myself are the Christmas songs that start playing in the shops and the decorations for sale shortly after Halloween...

Tell me in your opinion, what's the first thing that makes it feel like Christmas is coming. It may be the lights, the decorations, anything.

Cicada Season. When all the green grocer cicadas come out and make such a loud racket but it's every year for some weeks starting at the start of December and every year it reminds me that it's almost Christmas, because a) it happens in the weeks before Christmas and b) it gives the atmosphere such a summery/Christmasy feel with their sound which is actually really nice although cicadas are the scariest insect ever and they creep me out so much.
