Eh. I'm seeing someone and I think he expects us to have sex soon. Thing is, I'm a virgin :/ I know for a fact he isn't (he has literally told me) I want to have sex in the future but not right now. We haven't been seeing each other all that long.

First, there's nothing wrong with being a virgin at 21. A lot of my friends both male and female are around your age and some of them are virgins too.

Second, if he likes you then he's thinking about more than just having sex with you, so I don't see why he would care. If you tell him you're a virgin and he's upset then I'd say that speaks wonders about him being shallow.

hi i'm not a male but it's your body your rules, no means no yes means yes. any guy who is bothered by you being a 21 year old virgin or any guy who is bothered if you HAVE had sex is too lame and immature to be having sex anyway. i would be careful how you go about it, some guys get off on taking girl's virginities (i know a guy who only slept with virgins.. he was a creep) so be extra careful if you want it to be special. i'd wait until he initiates anything before telling him if you haven't already? if it's a mature person he won't mind about your previous sex life or lack of nor will he mind waiting.

aww it wouldn't bother me at all, it shouldnt make the slightest bit of difference, its about how much you love and care about someone, not that past history with that kinda stuff etc. If anything I think it would make him happy (although a little nervous), because he wants to make your first time special!

Unless he's a legit bad person he won't have a problem with it but do tell him sooner rather than later because it's not something you want to have to blurt out when things are getting hot and he thinks there's more happening than you planned for. There are always other options available and anyone who's properly into you will be totally willing to wait until you're ready - and if you're not ready, don't make the plunge so to speak
