Since I signed in to my Chrome account in Google Chrome on my laptop, whenever I click the pinned icon in the windows 7 taskbar, the window will open under a new icon in the task bar - not the one that's already pinned, if that makes sense. Pinning the new one it opens in and unpinning the old one does not solve the problem. Anyone got any suggestions?

unpin it, search for chrome.exe and pin that

I often encounter interface glitches with Chrome on both Windows as well as OS X and unfortunately what I end up doing to fix them is I install Chrome Beta, Chrome and Chrome Canary all at once, and I just switch between then when one of them gets a bug I can't live with.
I'm not crazy, ask my toaster.
