About me:
- I go on Habbo and basically spend my time moaning about most things
- I go on skype with my friends, and on the odd occasion do some prank calls which is always fun
- Thought I'd re-join these forums, basically because I have nothing else to do
- I play golf - ik weird
- I hate people who can't differentiate between "bought" and "brought";
Correct way; I recently bought some shoes.

What?

I recently brought some shoes is perfectly fine, it could be stating they brought the items to where ever they currently are. Could extend on it saying "I recently brought some shoes here and they got stolen" etc.
