    Default Java Exploit

I didn't see any threads mentioning this so thought I should post for anyone who hasn't heard about it, there's an exploit with Java that has the ability to silently install programs on to victims PCs just by visiting a website and it has a lot of speculation around it, Oracle have given a patch for it but some people think that it's still vulnerable.

I have just disabled all the Java plug-ins I had and also uninstalled Java as I don't actually use it for anything (downloadable client for Runescape doesn't require it!).

    more info here:

..or just google "java exploit" or "zero day java" and there's websites posting news that are being updated constantly

Eugh, I use Java quite a lot, but not much on actual websites so hopefully I'll be ok. Gonna look at that patch now...
