Default Time Travelling - Ends 27th January

I watch a lot of Doctor Who. The TV series is about a time-travelling alien who explores the Universe in his time-and-space-travel machine called the TARDIS. Lately it’s got me thinking about the places I would visit if I was able to travel through space and time.

For this competition, I would like you to write a certain period of time you would visit if you had your own TARDIS, and why.

The most interesting answer will win!

    Prize: 5 credits + 10 rep

I'd like to travel to the late 1700s.
So around 1789, just as the French Revolution starts; with Storming of the Bastille, March to Versailles and Flight to Varennes happening.
It's such a monumental period of time - ignoring the poverty aspect and Robespierre's Reign of Terror later. I think must've been fascinating to have been part of the 'enlightened thinkers' who first began to question the divine right of Louis XIV and belief in God.

    superhappy.
