Icehockey Skate support ripped.

Hi,

My support on my icehockey boot has ripped down one side of the skate and it is flapping off, i'm just wondering if I take my skates to a cobbler will they be able to strengthen the support?

I don't really play ice hockey, but i do have a pair of skates that i use to go ice skating every so often. I would believe so, if you really like them you may as well, but i would recommend a new pair if they don't cost too much.

Well a new pair of skates, I am saving up for, I just want these to last as long as possible!
