Battleball Returns?

There was a discussion after a Room Builders task release that centered around whether Battleball will be returning, here's the official word on it:

to be honest, we all know that banzai is not played anymore. everyone is boosting on it and it has become a joke, that is not the point of a game

to be honest, we all know that banzai is not played anymore. everyone is boosting on it and it has become a joke, that is not the point of a game

Who is to say BattleBall will become popular again? SnowStorm succeeded for the first few months and is still mildly popular, but nothing like it used to be. It's all fine bringing it back but unless the staff hold competitions (and not just bloody achievement badges) related to BBall and give out prizes, then it would ultimately fail if brought back.

I hope you know that snowstorm was not raging popular at the time it was removed, nor was battleball or wobble squabble and snowstorm was still quite popular till at least may 2012 before they started promoting other games on a whole new scale. Can't assure you that Battleball will remain popular throughout but it will be played and enjoyed more than banzai or tetris block or whatever

It's probably got a marginally higher chance of being played yes, but I wouldn't expect them to bother with the extra effort whilst they still have Battle Banzai which is 'similar' in their eyes. Besides, if they continue to promote the other random games, then it would only be more likely to drag people away from Battle Ball and destroy its popularity again.

I'm not utterly against it coming back, and I see why people want it back. But I would seriously doubt them ever bringing it back whilst they still have Banzai to fall back on :L

Snowstorm faield because they took out the elements of the game that where fun like creating games with your friends and picking what team you want to be on. I have no desire to play with ransomers. Sad that bb isn't coming back. I hate banzai.

I personally don't think bringing it back fully will achieve anything. It is practically already on Habbo through Battle Banzai, and the majority players it would attract are the 'veterans' which thanks to the many failings of Habbo, there aren't many left. Habbo has focused on getting new players for a while and if it goes back to getting the older players, it won't succeed unfortunately

@Luke367 - What's the deal with that website, I see it get posted a lot, can anyone sign up and sort of mill about in a free-roam version of the hotel, is it for bug testing etc?
