I've been sick for about a week now and quite a few people I know have also managed to catch the bug, but what if it wasn't all bad? What if while we were sick we also caught superpowers? For example, if that horrible cold you had also gave you the power to read minds, I wouldn't complain.

A sickness that would be one major phenomenon is one that will allow us to reach our hand or leg through the internet, through the screen of someones laptop/computer and make some form of contact/connection with their face.
As you know this will be extremely popular on places like the YouTube comments, Habbo and that attention seeking girl on facebook.
