Default Kings Cross to Gatwick Airport?

Holla. I'm pretty crap with finding information with holidays and travel etc. So I am in need of some help from the English people! What is the best way to get from Kings Cross/St. Pancreas? I am trying to book a flight for 7am to fly to Switzerland... Any ideas?

...or get the train, it'll be First. http://www.firstcapitalconnect.co.uk...FcshtAod_zZrMw

What day are you going? Considering you'll need to be at the airport around 5AM, it'll be tight.

It is a Thursday, I don't mind finding a hostel somewhere closer to the airport if such one exists (overnight).

I just found the Gatwick Express but I'm trying to find leaving times. Ugh, slow internet.

If it makes ANY difference I have an EU passport..

Which Thursday buddy? I'll help you out (by me I mean @wixard; will). Why will you be at Kings Cross (where are you coming from)? You can probably skip out a leg of your journey. ;-)

Okay. I arrive in London early May, leave for Switzerland on June 23 (I need to arrive that day, any time before 4pm would be nice - cant be after 6.)
So in reality I'll be floating around London/UK for 1.5 months. I don't mind finding a hostel or place closer to Gatwick if I have to

http://soa.li/6PJwy5l is the flight I have found which I liked. Obviously I need to add on luggage to that price.

Okay, I've ****** the above post up. I'll restate my plans:

    Arrive in London early May.
Hang around london/UK for 1.5 months
Fly to Zurich June 23 (it's a Sunday... oops)
Hang around Switzerland/Italy/France wherever for 2 weeks
Fly back July 10 or 11, around then.

It was getting there at 7am but apparently I looked at the wrong dates and I actually need to get there by 12:35pm on a Sunday so this thread is probably moot now, but the Gatwick Express was the answer I was looking for.

If trains let you down, then you can always book a taxi I suppose. But that would be the last resort as I assume it'd be expensive

Best way is to get the Brighton Train from St Pancras lower level (Thameslink Station) to Gatwick Airport. It takes about an hour and it'll be cheaper than the Gatwick Express, or like you said if your near Victoria you could just get the GEX.
