    Default MacBook Pro.

Moved from a Mac Mini (2006 Model, with OSX Leopard, Speedy stuff!) Up to a 2013 Macbook Pro w/ Retina display.

Its due to be delivered on Saturday, so I was wondering what anyone here defines as "Must Have" accessories, and also, if there was a program like Xampp (But NOT Xampp) to run on it to do some offline coding, It needs to have an SQL server.

    Thanks!

@ The Xampp bit, I looked but they all look like crap, Even the Xampp doesn't look great for the Mac.

Nothing to recommend in terms of app but the Retina MBPs are an incredible piece of kit and it won't let you down. I really want one of these sleeves though - http://shop.jolioriginals.com/products/mbp - except red + black doesn't look appealing. Brown + aqua/green is nice though but I think it's sold out ]

Edit: oh I think I found it http://shop.jolioriginals.com/produc...ook-pro-sleeve

Them sleeves look sexy, but.. Look at how much they are, I know I just spent well over a grand on a Mac, but... I Only want to speed £50, £60 on a case, Ah well.

I did buy one of them cleaning kits you posted on twitter a while ago, and I must say, its awesome.

Doesn't the latest OSX come with XAMPP basically installed apart from MySQL. I don't remember if I installed anything apart from MySQL to get everything working on mine.

    Edit:

Thought as much. PHP and Apache are already included and just need activating. Then just install MySQL.

It puts the base HTML folder in a bit of a strange place. Something like /Library/WebServer/. Never bothered looking in to how to change it.

I use MAMP for my XAMPP replacement. The built in Apache/PHP/SQL setup is a PITA.
